About

Les muses braises is an exhibition of poetry created by Les Insomniaques (Marie-Soleil Guérin Girard), taking shape through objects and wall pieces made of textiles (broken fabrics, knitting, tufting). Disseminated in space, the rooms are silent witnesses of everyday life, ready to narrate the history of all these muses that have gone extinct over time. The exhibition questions the impact of typography and fabric by breaking down the poetry of its paper medium and transposing it on different textile materials. The poems that compose Les muses braises are associated with objects or typographies, becoming works in their own right.
