About
Welcome is an anthem in images created by Rosalie Beaucage, who celebrates the passage of Greater Snow Geese in the Quebec region, back from her wintering area on the American east coast. Through this work, Rosalie Beaucage explores the medium of stop motion and its possibilities, testing the intersections and echoes between drawing and print. She works in both her workshop at La Charpente des fauves and the Engram Centre. Saying "welcome" to a white goose sailboat in the sky is greeting the animal as an equal and perhaps beginning to rethink our relationship with the living through simple gestures and habits.
