About
On stage, an improvising team, the Vandales, develops a 60-minute live story, inspired by a theme chosen by the Activist. The latter acts as an unpredictable director, punctuating the story of major twists called Mouse's Attempts, which transform the frame and force actors to adapt on the spot. Far from the traditional "impro" game, the RIOT refuses competition and scores to favour collective creation, surprise and experimentation. Each representation is a stage laboratory where narration, actor's play and stage interventions intersect. Transparent to the artists, the RIOT demands a fair and bold improvisation. The RIOT becomes a regular meeting where the public discovers the freedom that emanates when choosing to leave the conventions.
