About
I'm in love and the tendency to go beyond is a research-creation project in a poetic collection and an album of music that will be presented in the form of a reading-performance-musical on May 16th at 8 pm in the Simon Drouin room. From 7 p.m., you are invited to launch the collection of my armor my love and a first title of the album to appear. The launch will be followed by a Dancing Queer evening (22h at 1h am), marking the anniversary of its first year of existence. ✦ Through a poetic writing of trauma, the collection my armor my love explores the question of intimate violence in lesbian-queer relations, which too often remain silenced, exploring the voice as a place of fracture and resilience. Childhood emerges in a space of research, and while it remains traversed by fragmentation, writing appears as a gesture of identity consolidation. ✦ the doubt landed on my voice, I was 7 years old When you got there, I couldn't do anything else. than to fall long in the space of my silence Talking is a crime that asks to push on a very well-knit wound I'm being asked. So I answer that burning is my only tongue my dedication Most intimate ✦ Passionate about red, disco balls and karaoke Lé is a multi/trans/interdisciplinary artist (whatever) from Quebec who writes, sings, performs and organizes events.
