About
The Vit litt is permanently located in the hall of La Charpente des fauves, a project that aims to offer an inclusive space for dissemination and sale to creators who are interested in the practices of the artist's book, zine, self-publishing, literary object and any work that is outside the conventions of the world of bookshops and publishing. Since these practices are difficult to expose in the gallery as well as in bookstores, the Vit litt appears in response to the exhilarating needs of the community to have a space reserved for these extraordinary practices.A three-step programmingThree-step programmingThree selections of works per year are hosted by the Vit litt. For a period of three months, the showcase offers a careful precinct of artists' books and independent publications, structured around a specific theme. A first window with ecological contentThe first selection, presented from September 12 to December 12, 2025, will explore the theme of ecology. Thirteen works have been grouped for their contribution to the discussion on ecological issues, natural phenomena and the tense relationship between living and human beings. These books will transport the readers to unusual places, as if they had an expedition in their hands.
