About
The Nebulous begins a project of sculptural literature giving substance to a text that is written out of the book. The work takes the form of an immersive exhibition where language meets matter, through carved objects, moulds and installations requesting commitment, meanings. The project questions the body autonomy, the first intimate experiences, the tension between desire and social norms and the almost inherent shame to the transformation of the body in the socialised people fxmmes. The artists Maxime Desmeules and Jiwan Larouche try to make the text vibrate differently: in space, in physics, in discomfort sometimes. Through this dialogue between writing and sculpture, Iels offers a multidisciplinary experience that highlights the social structures of shame and invites the public to live in intimate narratives differently.
