You charge how much? is a multidisciplinary documentary theatre created based on real testimonies from people who have performed or received sexual services, as well as in-depth research on the dynamics surrounding the sex industry.The project is neither in an abolitionist posture nor in a pro-prostitution position. Rather, it questions the systemic structures that have allowed the emergence and maintenance of this industry: patriarchy, as the founding ideology of gender relations, and capitalism, which transforms desire into commodities. The ambition of this creation is to make several truths coexist, sometimes contradictory, and to invite the public to reflect on its own position in the face of these accounts.In this sense, Do you charge how much? is conceived both as a work of reparation and as an attempt to understand: a dramaturgy of the bond and the dissensus, a space of memory and otherness.
