Biographies
Sarah Toung ondoBorn in Bordeaux, France, and of Franco-Gabonese origin, Sarah Toung ondo grew up in France and Gabon, which strongly influenced her artistic practice. After studying design and art history, she began studies in social and historical anthropology, which led her to complete a Master's degree at Toulouse II University. During her field of research in Anthropology, she discovered the artistic community of Quebec, decided to settle there and obtained her diploma from the Maison des Métiers d'Arts de Québec in textile construction. A multi-sicillary artist, Sarah Toung ondo is a touch to everything that likes to explore mediums, mainly textiles, photography, ready-made, installation and artistic mediation. This taste for proteinform allows him to question the links between art, the intimate and society through the prism of cultural blending.
