About
virginia fauve and Mathieu P. Lapierre propose, during this residence at La Charpente, to experiment in a poetic and performative back and forth movement. It is by exchanging and using each other as a third-party indicator of presence and transformation that the two artists will engage in a progression of gestures, statements, borborygmas, poetic and improvised singing. From this laboratory, they will attempt to simmer at the primers and the resurgence of the lyrical stream that have in common. Their sobbing and reactivity will act like calls, such as a form of echolocation seeking to find, question and influence the other.

Biographies
MPL Through my artistic work, I build performances in both in situ and installative contexts. In my home, art action acts as a portal of propulsion, integration and consciousness of my being in the world. The gestures that I perform, the words sung or spoken, the objects that I make or near are as much artefacts of accompaniment, healing, benevolence and hygiene in relation to my earthly and artistic journey. While my work is primarily performed, it also includes writing, building objects, installation and live video and audio documentation, which is a multitude of tools that allow me to use editing software to modify my video documents, alter them and, above all, constantly re-register them in the present so as to create a kind of palimpsest woven from past moments that can nourish and prove the evanescence of my being seeking to permeate the fugacity of the present. wild virginia Literary stealing, I steal in poetry and prose, review and fanzine, sometimes in the form of events or performances. My writing approach is built in a tree-like thought and I like to mix disciplines, from poetry to personal essays, but also in print arts, performance and electronic music (ATOLLL). In recent years, I have carried out various projects in which I have tried to reflect the text/image relationship, but also that between the gesture/poem/minute, especially with the event and the publication Pending its fall and also as a writer in residence for the Riap 2025.
