About
A living work that thinks in sounds and gestures the horrors and joys of obsolescence. Through the development of a shared sound vocabulary and an audio cassette archive, Stephanie and Simon will experiment with the different technical and performance possibilities of analogue media from the 1980s and 1990s, using improvisation sessions, recorded performances, and continuous critical listening. The duo will seek to abandon to cohabitation the asperties and sweetness of our technological, physical, and spiritual baggage, leading to a fun and dynamic final performance.
