Fortune Nation unfolds like a dream, a ceremony animated by its own rhythm, its own time. Through gestures fleeing clarity and permanence, performance is part of a kind of sci-fi anthropology, observing and imagining life forms whose codes escape us. Invisible bodies, invisible labor, operating on wastes of the future, on remains with intelligible functions. The two figures present, sometimes guardians, or caregivers, act without name, attachment and culture. Similar to chrysalis, excess bodies draped with glaneous material evolve between metamorphosis, erasure and recomposition. A living piece of art with two performers and several avatars, driven by software that generates a choreographic and behavioral score, the work is a collaboration between Simon Laroche and Liliane Moussa, born of a fruitful dialogue between two complementary universes: that of critical technologies and that of motion analysis.

Biographies
Liliane Moussa Liliane Moussa has been developing choreographic and multidisciplinary proposals since 2012. She seeks to engage bodies in an effort that questions the notions of performance and performance. By structuring action and sculpting bodies, she studies the power dynamics inherent in movement, whether individual, societal or cellular. Inspired by sports practices and the field of rehabilitation, his research uses energy expenditure, muscle contraction and errors to put into perspective the validity of concepts of efficiency, growth and representation in our contemporary practices. She presents her individual and collective works on the Canadian scene, in France, Chile and in non-traditional sporting contexts. Liliane is co-founder and co-organizer of the Lots of Love_LOL Festival. She has also been a physiotherapist since 2006. Simon Laroche Simon Laroche is an artist who produces transdisciplinary works. These cover the fields of robotics, electronics, video, audio and performance and play as much with computer programming and technical materials as with social codes. He has developed a critical and experimental approach to hybridization of artificial and biological systems which questions the impact of technology on the construction of social and psychological realities. Since 2003, Simon has presented audiovisual performances, interactive installations, robotic works, body-art, and videos as well as participatory plays in important festivals, biennials and museums (Ars Electronica, ISEA, Elektra/BIAN, La Villette, MACM, Némo, Wro, FILE, etc.) in Paris, London, Brussels, Budapest, Leipzig and elsewhere in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas.
