About
Gabriel Cloutier Tremblay and Ariane Voineau join forces for the FOMO project. A multi creation, on the conformism and anxiety of rattling, the individual and collective expectations that question the bestiality of relationships. The whole treats with humor, self-desiration and absurdity. The title FOMO, the fact that it's anxious to miss something, refers to this constant idea of not doing enough to be the best version of yourself. Not to be in perfect harmony with the standards that are prescribed; these inherent in our capitalist society where comfort and satisfaction are put forward. Aware that these concerns are inextricably linked to certain privileges – socio-economic, geopolitical, etc. – and part of the age of time, I would like to take a critical look at this concept through humor and nightmare, to reveal a certain futility.
