About
Solar Songs: An interdisciplinary project in music, storytelling and visual arts It is a travel story, a refuge music, light texts. It is in the thrill of a singing voice that the quest reveals its contours. From Barcelona to Albania by bicycle and from Chile to Iran by way of love, musical influences converge in a smooth work. The launch show will present the eight trilingual songs of the album arranged and performed by Roger Cournoyer, Louis-Solem Pérot, Simon Beauséjour Boudreault and myself. These songs will be woven together by the initiatory tale of my encounter with Sherpa and illustrated by the book of Insurmountable Opportunities. Recorded at the Horizon 8 studio in co-direction with Roger and Louis-Solem, the songs of the Solar Songs draw a journey route on the Route du Vivant. Taking root in the project in visual arts The Insurmountable Opportunities, Solar Songs is based on a solid artistic approach aimed at rehabilitating the fundamental links between humans and nature and at transposing the living into a work that has been achieved thanks to a multidisciplinarity assumed. My artistic approach is indisciplined, intuitive and constant. The songs I write as well as the images I create emerge from a nomadic way of life in which I try to nourish my belonging to the living.
