About
The theatre of objects is a brilliant art. An object enters the stage and already a writing begins to take shape. Possible meanings excite our senses, our memory, our desire. As spectator.ice, we seek to read and link these three-dimensional hieroglyphs, decipher them, give them meaning. As part of this training, participants will be able to learn how to compose their stories with the object, or even better understand the power to evoke objects. Different tools will be explored so that everyone can find the form that suits their project, the right mix between words and images, to avoid saying anything – or on the contrary to illustrate everything. The participants will thus be able to observe that the starting point of writing for the object is often outside the person who creates. This is why writing will be more worked on from a reaction than from an impulse or intuition. It will therefore proceed here by collage and not by system. We will therefore carefully cultivate accidents and accidental assemblages to observe the poetic shocks created by these forced amalgams. To nourish this organic aspect of writing, the course will often be fed by exercises carried out in teams. Regular presentations of the sketches will allow the group to exchange thoughts and analyses on the work of the other participants.
