Alix in Wonderland is a queerized adaptation of Lewis Carroll's work. The duo Folie Genderefck relies on Alix to treat with humor the absurd, madness and norm, supported by no less than 10 alternative drag artists from Quebec. Alix is not thought to be a classic theatre show, nor a standard drag show. It's a show mixing drag performances, tales and narratives. Using a variety of mediums and accompanied by a narrative throughout, this show based mainly on the art of alternative drag invites the spectator.ice to re-question the norms of genre by offering a reverse gender show. About ten performances will play on varying tones around the issues of standard and absurdity. Humor, magic and emotions are at the rendezvous of this colorful show.
