About
Bleu radiant is worn by Louis-Robert Bouchard and Geneviève Duong, who combine their expertise to develop a multidisciplinary show that combines stage technology and dance-theatre. The project is based on the friendship relationship between two former pioneers, Loïe Fuller, American dancer-choreographer, and Marie Sklodowska-Curie, a Polish chemist and physicist. Inspired by the significant events of the life and work of Fuller and Curie, Bleu radiant wants to report on themes that still resonate today: the struggle of women, the advancement of science, the development of the technologies of the stage and the consequences of electrification on the relationship of the human to the real. In other words, the objective of this research-creation laboratory is to offer a reinterpretation of this exceptional friendship.
