Since 2010, Folie/Culture has been offering a series of closed-door meetings, facilitated by an animator, inviting artists with different statutes, backgrounds and backgrounds to discuss the relationship between art and madness. The Rencontres de Fous aims to open a space where creativity and madness can be addressed without the imperative of treatment or productivity. Folie/Culture thus wants to foster inclusive discussion while breaking isolation and social exclusion. The project tries to create an environment where participants can feel accepted and supported, regardless of their personal and professional experiences. A fair mix of professional artists.le.s and citizen artists.ne.s forms a cohort for 2 years. This formula aims to foster deeper linkages and stimulate co-creation. The first year (25-26) allows the group to meet and exchange during 4 meetings and the editing of a collaborative exhibition composed of their existing works.
