The project End of the World Cradle is a ritual performance, a collective communion in the face of collapse. In a world in permanent crisis, where the anguish of the end freezes us, Samuel Matteau and Pascal e propose a space of passage — a soft threshold between the end and the beginning. At the crossroads of performing theatre, ritual and puppetry, the work invites the public to an initiatory journey where fear turns into a shared dream. The artists will weave an immersive experience, carried by the hypnotic softness of a lullaby and drunken chaos, to transform the end into a promise of rebirth.

Biographies
Samuel Matteau Samuel Matteau is a filmmaker from Quebec City. Its roadmap consists of short fiction and documentary films, international advertisements, photo exhibitions from the Middle East and North Africa, and numerous digital artistic projects. He directed his first fiction feature film in 2018; " Elsewhere who received André Forcier's award for best fiction feature film at the "On the Bayou" Festival in Louisiana. In 2019, Samuel decided to survey the digital territories of virtual reality with the project The Great Cold produced by Studio Element and the Québec City Film Festival. A work in situ or the spectator is invited to take a trip to a Carré d'Youville of the future. The project deserved two important appointments; "Best immersive experience" at the Canadian Screen Awards 2020 and a nomination for the 2019 NUMIX Awards as Immersive Cultural Production. With Guillaume Fournier and Yannick Nolin he co-directed a short documentary trilogy on Louisiana; " Let the good times roll, ACADIANA and Beautiful River It has been broadcast in more than 100 festivals, including Clermont-Ferrand, South by Southwest, Tampere, Hotdocs and having won more than 20 awards. With the support of SODEC and the City of Quebec Samuel is currently writing the script of his next feature fictional film. Pascal e Pascal e creates links. Between patenting and polyphonic singing, between poetry and lullaby, between puppets and ritual, between humans. His work is a service to children who hide inside the big ones. Very committed to the community that welcomes her, both in Quebec and in Estrie, is part of an artivist and deeply community-based movement. Its recent projects, such as the Great Lady (collective creation of a giant puppet, 2025) and End-of-the-world borings (a series of thematic meetings with the community in downtown Quebec City, currently underway), are gathering, accessible, living and intended to be a context of communion around issues that enliven, such as the occupation of public space, the future of communities, mourning and resistance. They pay tribute to contemplation and slowness, as well as to the bonds between beings, which often prove to be transformative. His work usually takes the ritual form, i.e. he intentionally gathers symbols in order to perform a transformation in the artist and in the people who are in contact with the creative process. Pascal e studied visual arts, textile construction, jazz singing, philosophy, literary creation and international politics.
