The vacarm of flowers is a multidisciplinary installation that combines sound, literary, digital and visual arts. A woman carefully archives the recordings of a garden to make a sound herbarium. Through the fragments, one discovers that she addresses a loved one with whom she shared the ritual of the previous summer's vegetable garden, but who has recently been immersed in a coma. "Of the five senses, the one most likely to receive stimulation is hearing," says the doctor. So, the woman composes bouquets of sounds that play looped in the hospital room. The sounds picked up in the garden turn into a soundtrack, a true artifact of a will to archive and sublimate what is stolen. Time dislocates, invites contemplation, fragility, acceptance of what is beautiful, but which, despite us, dies.

Biographies
Maude Boutin St-Pierre Educated at the Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Québec, Maude has been playing since 2018 at the crossroads of theatre, movement, literary and sound arts. Actress and creator, she participated in a dozen productions in Quebec City and Montreal. She writes and realizes Parenting : in search of a family that resembles us, sound work halfway between radio-theatre and documentary. Winner of the Artist of Succession Award - Capitale-Nationale (2023), Maude is interested in how we think about and build our connections: friendships, alternative families, feminist communities and ecosystem relations are the subjects that spread his projects. Marianne Lebel It was with a strong interest in visual arts and theatre that Marianne completed her studies at the Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Québec in 2017 and in the same year signed her first scenography for Hypo with Maryse Lapierre, winner of the Best Scenography Award by the AQCT. Since then, she has participated in more than 30 productions in Quebec City, exploring the intimate relationship between spectator and artist. Her work on Inframond and Eye was praised by a critical award and an appointment to the Paul Bussières Prize. Co-founder and artistic co-director of Venus by bike, she designs decorations and accessories, notably for Issuance (2025, La Bordée). Intrigued by space narration, Marianne participates in the Vacarm of flowers to deepen his practice as a scenographer and reflect on how the visitor's space and journey can offer an immersive, fluid and engaging experience. Julie Lévesque Julie Lévesque, a graduate of the Conservatoire d'Art dramatique de Québec in scenography (2007) and established in her own right in the Quebec City region, has multiple mandates in theatre, circus, dance, or event. Julie anchors her artistic approach in the visual arts. At the same time, she is interested in new media and their integration into her work, in addition to practicing photography, painting and infographic work. Always looking for new techniques to add to her practice, she is also interested in craft methods, crafts, flower culture and eco-responsible practices. Antoine Doré A musician, composer and sound designer based in Quebec City, Antoine Doré is an active member of several bands (Wabo BBQ, Damn the lucky). He is interested in sound synthesis, sound processing and ambient music. He designed the sound world of theatrical creations, cinematographic works and audio works. Antoine offers live and immersive electro/ambient music using analog and digital synthesizers (and other acoustic instruments) to plunge the audience into his own narrative.
