Drag violence is a solo choreographed and performed by Anne-Charlotte Lajoie. She addresses the theme of anger, an emotion that she is used to repress in her life and with which she wishes to reconcile. His quest for movement is based on the brutality of gestures, frustration and even rage. "I am ready to show that even in violence there is a lot of sweetness." In a poem, she explores her words by creating emotional images in a speech. Its gesture, with a raw and dry texture, voluntarily produces sounds and it is for the artist a way to create a unique musicality sometimes disturbing. There is no shouting in the work, for it finds that the greatest violence in a dispute is silence. His anger is something hidden that gradually rises. She's never in the explosion in front of others' eyes, but she's full of nuances. Artistic intent Attempt to accept a little more in this violence and vulgarity. The story of my own anger, forged by you, locked in a zeute body. Usually censored, it will be revealed without wishing to suffocate. This inability to cross our own barriers questions me about audacity. Imaginary fears that we talk about in our children's books. So being an adult is not used to deconstruct our false youth beliefs? Just a moment away from a mirage, my rules don't hold up anymore. Gather your frustration with a rage that grows on the carpet of the entrance lying in icy eyes, crumbling hands, a broken heart,... An anger that ravages, but I promise you that love will answer later.

Biographies
Anne-Charlotte Lajoie Anne-Charlotte Lajoie discovers dance through improvisation. It shows the happiness of the encounter between movement and sound. With a flourishing desire to move, she began the advanced training in contemporary dance at L的École de danse de Québec. She had the chance to work with Éric Beauchesne, Anne Plamondon, Virginie Brunelle and many others. Following her graduation, she started the Big Bang 13 training where she was able to meet a multitude of artists with singular approaches. It has been seen in particular in Kinomada, La Charpente des Fauves, Fait Maison 2025 and in several projects of the company Danse K by K. This artist is looking for spaces where imagination and poetry emerge. Euphoric to the movement, Anne-Charlotte retains her curiosity about creation with objects, the architecture of the body and the way we inhabit our places.
