Étienne La Frenière Based in Quebec City, Étienne La Frenière stages, plays and designs shows with contagious enthusiasm. An exalted stage writing and multidisciplinary collaborations allow bewitching visual narratives, often jubilatory, with an absurd and committed look at human experience. With a taste for risk, he went off the beaten track boldly, in addition to illustrating himself on traditional circuits. His achievements include: Optimistic Park (La Palestre / First Act - 2022) Vesuvius (Where are you going...? / Carrefour - 2024/2025), and ambitious Cycle Jouvence (LGA / Charpente des fauves - 2023), which invited the public to an intimate and crazy show every month of the year 2023. The director moves a few times to Europe to work on When will we see, by Juliette Bernatchez (House poem - Brussels - 2023), Gun, de Chloé Clemens (Factory - Liège - 2024), and The New Company of the Sense (Théâtre de la Vie - Brussels - 2025), a creation that he directed and which will undergo a new stage of work in Belgium in autumn 2026. Constance Gosselin Originally from Quebec City, Constance always has gravity around theatre and cinema. After graduating from the Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Québec in 2023 in interpretation, it is writing, creation and play that sow his artistic career. Curiosity and sensitivity characterize the artist, which is why he has taken two courses of movement in Europe and participated in several voluntary actions. In 2024, Iel was an interpreter for the shows Dandelion, (a production of Theatre in Quartiers), Kaleidoscope (a production of Theatre not to be alone) and for the 13th edition of Jamais Lu Québec. In 2025, Constance was performing in the show Hamsters in the fridge (presented at Première Acte) and assisted Étienne La Frenière in the staging of the painting Vesuvius (in the framework of the International Theatre Carrefour). Pascale Bergeron Chiasson Graduated from the Bac en action culturel de l'UQAM et du CADQ, Pascale demonstrates expertise in coordination, intervention and mediation. From Montreal to Quebec, she has extensive experience in managing cultural and social organizations. Co-Director General of the Théâtre de la Bacaisse and Les Gorgones, she also coordinates the projects So & Lo (Constance Gosselin), Forbidden to stroll (Antoine Paré-Poirier), Doors Closed (Aude Seppey), Dhe hamsters in the fridge (Mathilde Eustache), all on the poster at Premier Act. As a performer, Pascale took part in several theatrical creations, including those of La Bacaisse's theatre, La Bacaisse's Grapefruit (Élisabeth Lavoie). On the youth side, it coordinates projects Wise as an image (Cecile Mouvet) and Manual for Warming Ice (Margo Ganassa), performer Claude in Dandelion (Clara Vecchio) and inventor in Sherloconte (Prestigo show) on a Franco-Canadian tour from 2025 to 2028. Pascale takes part in a puppet workshop at the Théâtre aux mains nudes in Paris. It is this experience that leads him to work on adaptation of The Land of Men, de Saint-Exupéry and on Théâtre de parc, co-produced by La Trâlée and the youth theatre Les big beaks. Emile Beauchemin Emile Beauchemin is a director, light designer and curator based in Quebec City. He co-directs the Théâtre Astronaute and co-founded La Charpente des Fauves, a place for research and creation in the living arts. A graduate of the Université Laval (2015), he has worked for nearly ten years in the Quebec cultural community through collaborations with the Carrefour international de théâtre, Mois Multi, MNBAQ, Les Chantiers / Constructions artistiques and JokerJoker. His work in light and video has been praised by several distinctions, including the Prix Jacques-Pelletier, and he has been a member of the International Theatre Carrefour artistic committee since 2023. Mathilde Eustache Mathilde graduated in 2023 from the Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Québec in the field of performing arts from a very young age. As soon as she's out of the CADQ, she's lucky enough to get on the boards in the room. Where I'm lying at La Bordée, in the table Vesuvius From where you go when you sleep walking, in several laboratories, never read in 2023 and in The trajectory of the confetti Trident. She also wrote with her brother Emmanuel the play Hamsters in the fridge, published at the Jamais Lu in Quebec City in 2024 and aired at Premier Act in the fall of 2025. Today Mathilde aspires to create and interpret significant works that will remind their audience of the importance of art in society. Pink Talbot Rose Talbot is a multidisciplinary artist whose journey is a constant dialogue between theatre, cinema and fashion. A graduate in cinema and custom clothing, she puts her dual expertise at the service of creation. As a seamstress for Creative Apparat, she has collaborated on major productions such as " 34B (Theatre La Bordée) and " Hosanna or the Scherazade of the Poor (Theatre of the Trident). She also played the role of Costum Chef on the filming stage of the " Large Solstice (Radio-Canada). Rose Talbot signs her first costume design with the production " Tupqan our internal territories (Duceppe Theatre and Ottawa NAC), which will play in Montreal in March 2025. Vano Hotton Vano Hotton is a well-established and award-winning Quebec scenographer. He has significant experience in theatre and regularly collaborates with dance, museum and major outdoor events. On the theatre scenes in Quebec and Canada, he has contributed to various companies and institutions such as the Trident Theatre, La Bordée, Théâtre Level Parking, Théâtre du Gros Mécano, Pupulus Mordicus, La Chipie, Les Incomplétes, le Festival Carrefour, La Vierge Made, Espace Go, Théâtre Rude Ingénierie, Ubus Théâtre, Les Pótits Mélomanes du dimanche, Ex Machina, Le Pays de La Sagouine and many others. Without, however, abandoning his first scenographic amours, these new studies in staging at the Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Québec allowed him to envisage the future with a new rope to his harp. Antoine Cusson A graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada in performance, Antoine is a versatile actor who feeds on the words and sensations they evoke. A player, Antoine draws pleasure in his work with the compositions of voice and body, leaving his imagination and creative spirit free. Author-songwriter-interpreter, there is a musical territory at home, a territory that Antoine aspires to integrate into his theatrical practice to create a unique and rich universe. Inspired mainly by electro, jazz and hip-hop, the rhythm is at the centre of his work as a musician, but also an actor. Melissa Iguer Performer and performer, Melissa Iguer is an Algerian artist passionate about human emotion. Having finished 2024 at the Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Québec, Iel works to offer an authentic incarnation, a visceral truth. Whether on the stage, through the lens of a camera or on Montreal sidewalks in the summer sun, Melissa is at home in the incredible pleasure of the game.
